Welcome to the forums from the cotton and peanut covered plains of the Wiregrass! That is a .38 Military & Police, Model 1905, 4th Change made around 1921, perhaps late 1920.

By the serial number it should be a1984-85, but if post the label Guy can pin it down to a more exact date. The model 13 is selling for good money these days and having the original box adds to the value so don't lose it

Thanks! I pulled the box out and remembered that I duct taped the corners probably 20 years ago. I'm sure that doesn't help. I keep it in a Triple K leather holster. I also have the original paper for it. 3 pics attached

Well, Joe, those pictures are interesting. But we need a picture of the label pasted on one end of the box. It should be white with the model, serial number, product code and features listed.

As luck would have it, the tape shown in the earlier pic came off pretty easy. I see that the serial number on the box does not match the serial number on the gun. Attached

Please don't store the gun in a holster. Not only does leather retain moisture, but tanning chemical residue in the leather will eventually damage the finish

No, but it is for the same model within a few hundred units. So, we can say the box was made for a Model 13 in 1984 day 349...Friday December 14. Your gun would have been made later that month or in early January 1985.
