Hi, all! I've been stalking the forum for years, but finally decided to register today. Anyway, today I brought home a pair of 32 Hand Ejectors. They won't win any beauty contests, but they seem to be in great mechanical condition.

The blued one is serial number 9152, which I believe makes it a no change model. Is that right? I'm also a little puzzled by the pinned front sight and different shape on the hammer spur. Granted, the hammer may have gotten reshaped due to a drop or other abuse, but it looks very even and symmetrical for that to have happened.
The nickel revolver is serial number 119895, Fifth change.

If anyone could narrow down when these might have been shipped or shed some light on the front sight and hammer of the blued revolver, I'd be grateful. Up until 6 months ago my oldest S&W was a well used 38-44 Outdoorsman. I'm really enjoying learning about the earlier models. Here's the rest of the early family.

welcome01 to the forums from the Wiregrass! Your blue gun is almost certainly a first year 2nd Model. It should have the flat spring for trigger return and I don't see a trigger return spring stud on the left side. Could have been polished flat for a refinish. I don't seen anything wrong with the pinned front sight and hammer either. Maybe Hondo44 will drop by and lend some of his wisdom. The nickel gun probably shipped in 1910. Nice collection you have there!

Thanks for the welcomes. Wiregrassguy, I posted the same question on another venue and Hondo44 replied to me over there. His opinions seem to concur with yours other than being a year later on the nickel finish revolver. Regardless of condition, I'm pretty stoked to find a no change model.

Sorry I missed this earlier, it’s always nice to see S&W revolver collections. Yours is interesting. Very eclectic and most look to be in shooting state. WElcome to the forum.
