I recommend Kydex molded holsters for carry handguns. Search Ebay for "kydex smith sd40ve" and you'll see a variety of them available for prices ranging from around $35. The compact ones with the kydex plastic belt clip are the best.

Don't mess with the trigger of that pistol. It is what it is. If you want a better trigger, buy something like an M&P 9mm or M&P 9mm Shield. Avoid the newer "EZ" versions.

These are self defense handguns, not target pistols. They are cost reduced, and this necessarily compromises some things in their design.
