Hello guys I am new to the forum, seems to be a really nice forum and I hope to learn from it and possibly contribute myself, I just bought a new model 19 earlier this week, I would like to put a set of Hogue wood finger groove grips on her, I am not sure of the frame I have though, I know its a K frame but is it a round but or standard square?? I guess to some its a silly question, but I have read reviews where they say its a K-frame but with a shorter round but...I am a little confused and just want to be sure before I order and end up with a set of grips I cant use and then have to go through the whole return hassle. Thanks in advance guys.

The Classic 19 is a round butt I know I have one, I like it a lot. You will need to get either Round butt grips or Round butt to Square butt conversion grips as shown below.

Hello guys I have another question, I bought the Hogue grips the round to square butt conversion, just got the grips yesterday and tried to put them on this morning, the grips would not slide on, after looking at it the pin on the bottom of the frame appears to be sticking out way more on one side, is this normal? the grips definitely are rubbing big time on that side, does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this? hopefully a easy fix as I don't want to have to return the gun or grips. Thanks
