I've seen questions recently related to after-market grips from Thailand; name of suppliers, quality, price, etc. Well, over the years I've purchased several Thai examples, but unfortunately, the primary supplier I used, named "Grand Blue Grips", no longer seems to be in business. I'm providing 4 examples of them, none of which have a gun manufacturer 'button' on the product, just plain wood. I'm also including one other example, which is fitted onto a Model 15-2. This set of stocks clearly displays a familiar looking S&W button. I bought these on Ebay, but I don't recall the name of the supplier, only that they came from Thailand. So as of now, my only known source of Thailand made grips is through Ebay, which admittedly is a 'hit or miss' proposition. Perhaps someone here can provide better sourcing information to assist our fellow members.

I have quite a few. Not all are from the same seller and I don't recall who they were except one and that was" Jaruwan P"
All of the ones I have bought fit nice. I have a feeling they are doing some kind of a co-op type thing and sharing equipment. I often see the same type grips by 2 different sellers. When I got my first set most were plain or a basic checkering. Looks like they have stuff like this now

I have found my Thai grips to be fairly comfortable for shooting as well as nice looking. Altamont grips also look nice but many of their designs have edges that are too sharp for comfort

Great looking grips. My wife and I both bought model 10 police trade in revolvers a few years ago, with really worn grips.
Her gun's grips were rougher than mine, so I ordered her a set of the Thai grips.
I liked them so well, that I ordered a set for me.

Here's a S&W Thai-made grip on Amazon - $70

I'll bite the bullet and try a pair of these for my Model 19-9 Carry Comp, I worry about the fit and finish of these especially based on the reviews. The Atwood stocks are out of stock for now. At lease, if there are any issues, I can return them and wait for Atwood's email.

The Thai grips on Amazon are more expensive than the same grips on Ebay. The advantage is that they must have a USA base person that stockpiles them. You get them in a few days compared to Ebay where they ship from Thailand and take around 3 weeks to arrive

I found the perfect Thai grips when I was looking to replace the presentation grips on my commemorative PA. State Police model 19-4. Feel great and balance out the revolver well.
