Hello all,
I bought a brand new SW22 Victory pistol just a few days ago. It looks like a nice pistol with some nice features and I was looking forward to shooting it.
Excitement immediately turned to disappointment as soon as I took it to the range. The magazine feed lips on both magazines were so close together it was impossible to get a cartridge into either magazine.
I gently widened the feed lips and got the magazines loaded. Upon firing the pistol I was dismayed to learn that it would only fire once or sometimes twice without a malfunction.
The defect was apparently the well-known ejector problem, I gently adjusted the ejector less than 1 mm toward the centerline of the gun. The gun itself now functions flawlessly.
However, the magazines still have some problems working reliably.
I ordered a new magazine and it doesn't have its feed lips so close together like the ones that came with the gun do. And I can load it without difficulty. I haven't had a chance to test fire it yet.
But I did notice both of the magazines that came with the gun had a white line on their followers. Either something like a grease pencil line or a crayon.
The replacement magazine has no mark on its follower.
Is that normal? I've never had a new gun have a mark of any kind on any of its magazines' followers.
