What a useless thread. Dude asks a question and the 2 responses are "Git gud" and "Howdy." Hope the whole forum isn't this bad.
Yet, I couldn't help but notice you didn't have even as much as those two did to offer as advice.

Nor do I really. I've got a couple of EZ's but they're stock out of the box. I've tried a couple of "dot" sights and didn't particularly care for them, but I can't say I really gave them much of a chance.. I've tried red and green laser's too. They were worse for me, dancing all over the target and causing me to jerk the trigger trying to "catch" the dot. I probably needed some training instead of thinking I knew everything right from the start.

I supose you could have a gunsmith drill and tap an EZ slide for a DOT plate, but the loaded chamber indicator might be a problem. I'm not a gunsmith, so that's just a SWAG. The two guns I tried with dots, (a Taurus G-3, and a Canik, I forget which model), came "dot ready" from the factory. Good guns, both, but I never really warmed up to the sights.

Good luck with your search though, and welcome to the forum. Pull up a chair. Sit on the floor. Coffee is almost ready. Grab yourself a cup out of the sink. NOT the blue one. That one is the dog's and he's funny about who drinks out of his cup.
