Newbie, with an sd9 2.0. Thinking about a concealed carry holster. Will get little or no use at all, as I'm not sure I want to do this. Any suggestions on what to look at? Don't want to break the bank. I see that some are quite costly.

Thanks in advance.

You are going to want to put a gun that size into a more substantial holster than a sticky holster. If you are thinking inside the waistband go with kydex. Good retention and good support. I find Vedder light tuck to be very good. They are on sale right now. The other key to comfortable carry is a good gun belt. I have found Kore belts to be very good and support any gun I have carried including a Glock 19 or an M&P full sized 9mm. If you skimp on a holster and belt, you will try carrying and it will be uncomfortable and inconvenient and you won't last 2 hours. Outside the waistband works too but still needs the good stiff belt. I use either Crossbreed snap slide or a full kydex similar to the Vedder kydex owb. I can't recall the name of it.

Also consider a custom fitted Kydex holster like those made by Rounded Gear. Low cost and fitted properly for the firearm, meaning they are safer for concealed or open carry.

Check out the holsters sold by Bianchi ...
Every one of my favorite holsters ... IWB and OWB seem to have Bianchi stamped on them .
I only have one IWB but I realy like it ... I have several OWB , belt holsters and 100% satisfaction ... the price is affordable and the quality is good .

DeSantis ... I have one for a Ruger Wrangler single action , it is soft but can be worn right or left side or as a cross draw ... very versatile little holster but not as good looking as the Bianchi tan leather holsters .
Check out DeSantis too , both are very affordable and excellant quality.
And get a good Gun Belt ... a holster isn't worth doodly-squat without a proper belt ... Trust me on this !
