Your Model 19 has that used but well-taken-care-of look that appeals to me. It looks as if it means business, rather than being just another pretty boy Smith. The short barrel really adds to its look.
Thank you for the kind words. She’s an old friend that is carried most days & nights. This old gal has the smoothest and most reliable DA trigger pull of all my S&W revolvers. She’s not too pretty, but we have a lot of miles together. Even with all the plastic semi autos available, I’ve never felt out gunned. Everyone has that one gun that they would trust to protect their family, this one’s mine.

Thanks again, stay safe!

For a short while, Cylinder & Slide made the fixed rear sight for the Night Guard family of revolvers. Dave Lauck (D&L Sports) picked up when C&S ceased production. They are a very robust ‘U’ notched rear sight, as opposed to the relatively delicate S&W adjustable rear sight. Less chance of snagging your cover garment. Smooth with a ‘V’!

Just went to the D&L website. No prices?? How do they expect to sell items?

Or am I missing something? Lots of pictures and atta boys. Not interested in those. More interested in prices and parts numbers.

Dave’s address, phone number, and email address are on the “Home Page.” I can’t remember what I paid (3 years ago). Give Dave a call, he’s a great guy to work with!
