A Model 642-1. I keep it together with the holster because it also goes into my coat pocket if I have to walk the dogs at night. I know the grips is a bit over-the-top, but it is about the smallest I feel comfortable with on this gun, and from a manufacturer I personally like (Altamont). There is also an loaded old 5906 in the house, but I think of that as the second line of defense,
