My best friend wants to buy my 4" model 28. It's an N serial number that puts it at 1973 in the book. I don't sell my guns, but I will to him. What would a fair price be for one about 95% or so. Thanks.

I just sold one to a friend of mine. Paid 375 sold it for 375. It was a nice one. I had a bit more in the gun since it came with aftermarket stocks and switched it back to factory. I had it listed on consignment at a local shop for 450, they take 10%, but it sat for a long time.

It is my best friend and I appreciate your responses. As I said, I don't sell my guns, except for a good reason. He will get a good deal. I'll just get another.
