I guess I was REALLY lucky. I bought my rifle in March and ordered two more 25 rd mags in mid March from Midwestgunworks for 24.89 each. I must have gotten some of the last before the supply dried up. It was just a few weeks later when I decided I wanted some 10 rd also and discovered there were none to be had, 10 rd. nor 25 rd. I feel bad a friend tried my rifle and liked it so much he bought one the week after me. He is stuck with just the magazine that came with it. He goes to the range with me so I loan him one so we each have two for the day. I did find ONE 10rd which is all I really needed, for zeroing in sites with a short bipod.

I've happened upon over a dozen 25 rd mags I'd be willing to part with as well as some 35rd plinker tactical magazines

Friends,
I'm feeling a bit duped here. Bought what seems to be a 22LR nice rifle to get some affordable range time while we wait out the ammo shortages. BUT didn't know that S&W (or anyone aftermarket) stopped making magazines for it.\
I know that the costs of the ammo metals are up and scarce. But, the M&P 15-22 magazines are very low-tech, super simple molded plastic. What is the hold up? I'm starting to wish I bought a Ruger or HK 22LR instead. Ruger 22LR mags are available everywhere.
Anyway, holding out a little longer before switching to another 22LR rifle with available magazines. Very disappointed in S&W. Please share any news about this if you have it.
Thanks & Safe Shooting. - T
If anyone has any magazines they are willing to part with, I would love to purchase 1 or 2 of them. I just got my pistol variant of this gun and cannot find magazines for it anywhere.
I have a listing on ebay user name jade-8378 i have several mags listed on the site look me up and send me a question and i can send you discounted offer

I bought a OD Green one at Academy Sports in Little Rock this weekend. They had several more on the rack, if I'd realized there was a shortage I might have bought a couple more, but I have half a dozen as it is.

Darn, I thought you were talkin rifles when you said OD from Academy.....

When 15-22 was 1st introduced, Academy had a special OD green one that was very unique looking. I was hoping that Academy was redoing it with the Sport.

Owell.....

I wish I could find the MP 15-22 10 Rd Magazines. They are impossible to find as well. I called S&W and they cant even give you a timeline of when they will be receiving them. They just said to check back in a few weeks. WTF?
