That Larry Mazerac,"SUXO" seemed to be a talented tech, and very knowledgeable.
It's amazing in that one vedio, how far the shrapnel went, even though the explosion was in a ditch.
Every piece of ordinance blown up is one less IED, against our troops. Course the techs probably have a long term job there blowing ordinance up.
Do the teams have a security detail with them?

I worked there from the begining of 04 to Dec 05. Last shot was made in April of 06. Site is in control of the Iraq Army now as a full time Depot. Yeah Larry was a card. To talk to him off site you would never know he was a Senior Tech. Very, very country.
Our safety zone was 4000 meters, and we had frag land way past that. Those shots for the most part were 200 to 250 tons total, we've had larger, with the biggest being 380 tons. Even with all the bad, its just to much fun makeing shots like that!!
