hi guys , I am looking at a victory model in .38 special in the V134,xxx range can someone post a picture so I can compare color of the finish ??

Sorry rojo that no one has responded before now. I don't have a victory model to show you, but the ones I have seen up close and personal have been either a dull blue mat finish or a gray mat finish.

Mine has a bit of green look to the grey parkerizing metal is smooth and I believe it's as issued. Many of the Victory's have been refinished if you are looking for just right WW II probably ought to consult some of the literature on finishes. Comparing one to another there is right much variation. I suspect but don't know for sure it depended on if S&W started with a commercial frame for early government contracts or later in the war went to all blasted metal.
