I just got a new to me Model 10-7, and it's so unusual I have to ask if it's factory. It has a 6" tapered non-pinned barrel, a round butt, and the part that really shocked me is a target hammer and target trigger. Now, if the hammer and trigger were added on later, I'm not gonna be mad, cause I didn't pay some super premium for an ultra-rare gun or anything like that, I'm just wondering what the chances are that it is factory original. Anybody else seen such a critter?

I doubt it is factory. Earlier models were available with a 6" bbl, and some commemorative pieces. Most have the combat trigger and service hammer IIRC. Sounds like a very interesting "Frankenstein" gun
