Made a trip to my LGS today to buy a Chiappa 22 lr revolver and I did. I had asked a couple months ago if they my LGS could find me a Heritage R-R Birdhead .22 lr/mag and when I walked in I was told it had come in a few days ago. I bought one about three weeks ago,now I have two,BECAUSE I asked them to find me one.:D PS The Chiappa is a 10 shot.

Sweet! 22s are fun. I have 2 rifes, 2 revolvers and a semi auto pistol in 22. We run through maybe 1500 rounds of 22 ammo a year. Probably should shoot more especially since its so plentiful and inexpensive right now

The Chiappa is all zink alloy, i.e., "Zamak", except for the barrel and chamber liners, cyl bolt and springs. Be cautious with the 1/2 cock notch, it can snap off the hammer fairly easy. And I hope .22s will chamber. I just had to hone all the chambers on one so ammo would fit in w/o using a hammer.
How much was it?

You may want to check out the Ruger Wrangler selling for $179 to $249 depending where you find it a lot more gun for the money. If you like it, you might want consider trading in your unfired (if it still is) Chiappa for one. If you want a ten shot, a Ruger single six 10 shot cyl can be installed in the Wrangler along with a 10 shot hand.
