Hi folks. New member. Angus is my name.

I have a DA45. Gun is nickel with white or pearl handle although factory was blued and walnut probably. Guns been in my possession since late 60's and father before that. 6 shot revolver.
Bottom of barrell stamped US States Property and I believe serial (under ejector rod) number is 73736.
Any knowledge of the model, age and or value? Gun in fair to good but not pristine shape and nickel. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpg

It looks like a 1917 US Army that someone has nickled. It should be a very good shooter if it is an Army issue gun the nickle finish would kill any collector value.

I agree with Bearcat about the collector value being sacrificed by the nickel refinish..............I made my comments on your other string about this revolver.

As a "Shooter", I'd value it somewhere between $500-700 (depending upon location and market).
