Well I picked her up Friday, and all I can say is "WOW"!!!! The two pic's I've taken of her just don't do her justice. The bluing looks like you could fall in and keep falling. The case coloring on the trap are ever so nice. She is a very plain, but elegant at the same time. Its to bad the weather here this weekend was so rotten, or I would have gotten to know her better.

P.S. Check out the "Semi-Auto Pistol" thread for the trade out of the SW 28-3.

Thinking that your gonna love that 45-70...right from the start. All the Pedersoli's I've shot were very well made. And very accurate.

Giz, You've gone and started it, that rifle has started talking to me, teling me she's lonely, and wants a friend. So now I'm on the lookout for a Ruger Vaquero in 45LC with 4-5/8"bbl blued, plus I'm already looking to get some good leather, and am looking for someone to make me a reverse copy of a sheath for my Boker Bowie. Just can't have sad guns around!! :D :D

To tell the truth, I find myself fondling more then a few Pedersoli's. I think that the beauty of the wood they use, combined with the fit and finish is astonishing...I can get lost in thought, just cleaning my Sharp's 45/90.

Tis True, can't have any Sad guns in the safe. Thinkin' a Ruger Vaquero in 45 LC paired up with that beauty will give you two fine shootin guns...

Or if your daring, finding a Uberti in a SAA in .45 Colt will have you period correct. I think Uberti is making absolutely wonderful recreations of the guns of the American West. I've been thinking of trying to find one to pair up with my Rolling Block 45/70

Giz, Actually I'm an odd one, as I find the SW breaktops to be a very pleasing match. I do have a guy online now who may be willing to trade me an older blued Vaquero in .45LC, plus factory ammo. Don't think I'll be able to pass this up. Also looking to get a McKever cartridge box for the rifle.
