Gentlemen & Ladies, I submit that you have more public places you are not allowed to carry than you have that you are allowed to carry. Government Buildings, Schools and associated property, banks, anywhere alcoholic beverages are sold, your favorite breakfast restaurant if they serve beer, etc. The point is that you have been cleared and approved to carry a concealed loaded weapon and your background has been thoroughly checked, not to mention, everything else. I believe you should be armed all the times, no exceptions. Hard to understand why trust is removed in so many certain places and restored in the few others. What causes me to be untrustworthy some of the time? Do any of you have conflicting opinions or do you agree? We are not in the perfect environment to find supporters within our government but it makes sense to me and it is my opinion only. Sorry if this has been addressed before.

I ask that question all the time. I just don't understand the mentality behind it. You just kick started me to start my letter writing campaign again.

I can not understand NOT carrying in bars or restaurants that serve beer........at least for me. If you go into a 'biker bar', (There are 2 in town, since Easthampton used to have a Harley shop..... it's in Southampton, now.) I would imagine that 1/2 of the folks in there........ pack serious heat.

I don't drink much any more.....never did, but walking in the parking lot, at midnight........I don't think that I wouldn't be armed!!! It's a prime place for a stick up. :-ss Bob
