This S&W Model 27 (a four screw) is one of my favorites.

This is an early one lettered to 4-29-1959. It's a great S&W revolver and a bit rare.

I've had a couple myself. This 3 screw 27-2 was an odd ball of sorts, with a recessed cylinder but no barrel pin. It was serial numbered in the early 27-3 range. Got it for deer hunting but it was too nice to want to expose to the elements. I traded it for a Winchester 92.

But not before replacing it with this 57, bought at an estate auction. It was wearing these Pachs.

I like the 41mag. It has a little more oomph than a 357 but without the recoil of a 44 mag.
