I saw these grips that Altamont had listed on ebay earlier this week. Not cheap but reasonably priced compared to some. Anyway the laser work is pretty intricate especially the S&W logo on the butt. I bought this Model 28-2 really cheap due to the freckled side plate but I really believe the gun was unfired. Anyway I had it drilled and tapped, added the target trigger and hammer, and did a bit of polishing on the action. It's now one of my favorite range guns and I thought it deserved to be dressed up a bit. Feels good in the hand.

You did a great job getting that model 28-2 into shape and to your satisfaction as well. That's all that matters. Love the grips. Let us know how everything functions for you. :)

Congratulations on a great combination.
