Today’s adoption a used Lew Horton Model 24-3, 3” .44 Special. Replaced the oversized rubber grip with some smooth wood stocks. Next a deep cleaning.

I heartily approve, not that it matters but I do, I used mine on a Lew Horton 610 3'.

Congrats, I had his brother in .44 Mag, but mostly shot with .44 specials, thinking I still have some Winchester Silver Tips left.

Not for carrying around (if I did own one, which I don't). My carry piece is a Kimber full size Crimson Carry Ultra 45.

Good looking revolver. Lou Horton Distributors did a lot for the collectors out there! I had the Model 29-3 for nearly a decade. Sold it and a Model 29-2 when I decided I preferred a 45 caliber revolver. Personal preference, only. I appreciate the 44 Special.

Uh oh. This could be the start of a problem! Stay away from the LTS and internet auction sites. You will be fine. A couple of deep breathes and we can get you through the cravings to add to the 44 Affliction.
