Recently I decided to start making digital copies of some of the documents I use in my research.
Sometimes when I’m at school, library or an archive, I find myself needing some little piece of info that I have in my library at home but need with me right then and there.
I finally digitized my NYPD serial number records and that has been a great boon, so I started looking at what else would be handy to have on a thumbdrive in my schoolbag.
I figured a digital copy of all the various firearms catalogs I have would be useful. I’m starting with the S&W’s. I have another thirty or so to go (the newer ones are a bear to scan as they are 70-80 pages sometimes) but for now I have these on my server if anyone wants a look.
Some of these are going to take a while to download; bring a book and a snack.
These are optimized and attached within the forum servers. The 1952 catalog is the Centennial catalog for Smith and Wesson and has some very interesting content.
