The Glocks are all cop guns, the two in .45 ACP were my sons, the 40S&W his partner's BUG. Come to think of it, I've since used the 40 (Glock 27), along with some cash for an AR rifle trade from yet another officer. The CZ-40B is strictly a house protection gun and the AMT .380 is in a safe, but all the above shoot (or shot) very well. Believe it or not, the inexpensive CZ is a real tack driver, it even makes a lousy shot like me look good! Now that I think about it, it's the only thing I have now in the 40 S&W caliber and I'm keeping it!

My two favorites in semi pistols:

HK VP9 and Walther PPQ.

My husband's two favorite pistols, S&W Model 25 and H&K USP .45.

Those are very nice and should serve well. I have no 9mm or 40 here but my semis are 45 ACP and 10mm. The Delta Elite (still awaiting front sight) and Ruger SR 1911 and CS-45

The CZ products are outstanding in both design and manufacture quality. I have CZ75 and SP01 platforms, and they are both tack drivers.

The HK VP9SK and P30SK (the hammer fired version) are outstanding carry pistols. My primary EDC at this point.

I'm not a Glock owner. The Colts in this thread are great. The Ruger SR1911 and SR1911c are both "sleepers" in the marketplace - extremely well made M1911a1 pistols at a very reasonable price.

Wow! so many choices and so many outstanding platforms... To all this I'd add the S&W M&P 9 as a great house gun!
