Can someone give me information and the value; I believe is either a 1977 or 1978 S&W 41 Magnum with a 4 inch barrel model 57. The serial number is N453###. Thank you in advance and will post picture below.

Looks to be very nice. I don't see a turn line on the cylinder so not many rounds fired if at all. Depending on box, papers, etc. for insurance purposes I would figure $1200. If you want to sell it and not wait forever then $800 is a realistic number.
There is no original box or paperwork with the gun. Does that affect the value?

A 4" bbl is less common and would command a higher price. I can tell you that if that gun was being sold here in CA, it would go from between $1200 - $1300.

I think series guy hit it on the head at $900 - $1000, in the states without restrictive handgun laws.

Those grips alone with the nice grain pattern would go for about $125.

Nice model 57! Looks fantastic and one that would go quick if put up for sale.
