Ok this was handed down in our family for three generation. what I do know is top break, 32 short, mother of pearl grips, lock up is tight, serial number 4698 with full box of unopened ammo i put the saran wrap on the box. wooden box with lock and key, with S&W logo on the cover. I dont need to know what it's worth just dating and info.

The first and third pics look like a .32 Double Action 2nd Model. 22,142 made between 1880 and 1882. With that low SN, I'd guess 1880.

Amazing condition and kit!
