Does anyone know if the 507K X2 requires a plate for the Shield Plus? I prefer to not use a plate. I am not sure what the X2 version changes as I cannot find the info anywhere. Frustrating!

Yes it does require an adapter plate. I used the CH Precision plate on mine. It worked well.

Thank you for the info! I ended up going with a Crimson Trace RAD Micro Pro Micro Green Dot. I may very well end up purchasing a Holosun before it is all said and done, though.
