I have had 11 stainless steel S&W handguns.

S&W Model 60, 1.875 inch, .38 Special, no dash (Bought new in the late 1970s.)
S&W Model 66, 4 inch, no dash (total stainless steel front and rear sights)
S&W Model 629 6 inch, no dash

S&W Model 639 (round trigger guard, fixed sight, single safety)
S&W Model 659 (round trigger guard, fixed sight, ambidextrous safety)

S&W Model 910S*#
S&W Model 5906TSW

S&W Model 3913NL*

S&W Model 4566

S&W Model 2206TGT (Millett adjustable sight, Herrett walnut target grip, and factory drilled and tapped slide)
S&W Model 2213*

*Stainless steel slide and aluminum alloy frame

I have a 4 inch 686 no dash I bought used a few years ago. About a year later I got a used 4 inch model 64-3. My 638 is aluminum and stainless and then last month I bought a new 4 inch 617.
Even though they are black, the barrel and slide on my M&P Shield are also stainless steel.

4" 686 purchased in '84, 6" purchased in '83, 610 with 6" barrel from '98, 617 with 6" from 07, performance center 945 purchased in '08, Performance center 952 from 2010, 624 with 4"barrel purchased used in 2011, 625 with 5" barrel from 2011, model 66 with 4" barrel purchased used in 2015 and a 5 " 686 pro series bought in 2015. I think that's all the ones I still have - Smiths anyway.

I see. You like the color of Zorro and not the silver bullets of the Long Ranger. ;)

I believe the heart of S&W collection is the S&W Model 66, 4 inch, S&W Model 639, and S&W Model 2266TGT.

I'm down to two at present, a Model 60 no dash and a 4" Model 66 no dash.
Stainless Smith & Wessons I have had in the past and some multiples there of:
Models 60,63,64,65,66,67,617,624,625,627,629,640,642,645,650,651,657,686,940,2206 and 3913.

Smith Wesson model 60 No Dash. My back up gun for over 40 years
Smith Wesson model 67 Back up duty gun in case my model 66 went down.
Smith Wesson model 66 Primary duty weapon for several years.
Smith Wesson model 6906 Carried when i was a detective.
Smith Wesson model 659. Bought it to use on raids as a Detective In case more ammo capacity was needed.
Smith Wesson Model 648 Shoulder holster gun for hunting. ( .22 mag)
Smith Wesson model 622 Target Practice gun. ( cheaper to shoot)
Smith Wesson model 1911 .45 ACP Gvt. Model First Smith Wesson Govt, model series produced.
