I subscribe to the YouTube channel, “Forgotten Weapons “. Ian digs up a lot of unusual weapons and does some pretty good research on them. I always learn something in his videos. I thought this was a really cool piece of S&W history

The Australians have a long history of preference for Smith and Wesosn firearms.

My own 10-11 was used by Victoria, Australia police before being returned to the US as police surplus when they upgraded handguns. It still had the Victoria inventory sticker on it when I acquired it a few years ago.

It has some holster wear, but locks up like a new revolver!
