Wanted to share a few pictures of my model 14 long tube , it is in decent shape overall, the bore is bright and shiny. Mfg date 1977.
This will be the first gun to go to the range when things are just a little more back to normal.
Think that one will reach out and touch a few targets. Had mine out last weekend and at 15 yards removed the red dot completely using my wadcutter loads. That one should have you covered quite a bit further.
Thanks, I made the deal for this one back in January at my LGS in south Texas.
Was in there last week and the shop mgr was showing me a model 19-2 with a 2” barrel,
he is a Smith collector and said that he had only seen one (he snagged it).
I have heard of 2 1/2” barrels but not 2”. Need to do some research on this.
Man oh man............around here it is ALL black plastic; my last best deal was a 2.5" 19-3 RB for $349 from, of all places, Gander Mountain..........they had a K38 Masterpiece next to it for $600; wished I had snagged both.
