Voted today between a M10-10 and M10-8 and -10 won plus $330 with better finish and stocks . Fired a few SWC and gun functioned as should, I need practice with skinny grips. Will have a look inside and cleaning , gun would have sat till doomsday with original price $550.

You did good. I have both and love them.

10-8

10-10

The 10-8 is my favorite shooter. I haven't fired the 10-10 yet.

Looks like mine, which was a LEO agency return from Victoria, Australia. Mine had little scanning stickers used for inventory on the right side of the frame.

It also came with the Wood grips, and I installed factory rubber grips I had from another revolver.

I always put hand-filling, rubber Combat grips on all my revolvers, for better shooting. I don't like the vibration of wooden grips, and the gun twists in my hand, when I use std. S&W Magna grips that are too small for my hands. Bob

Nice revolvers and shooting ! Unnamed S&W K/L stocks purchased on ebay arrived today they are pretty but look a little big on M10 . Ad stated they are vintage and made by Custom Wood in Connecticut . I looked them up but don't think they make gun stocks, they are more brown than pictured

Like Bob K unable to get a good grip and gun would flip up when firing, considering a BK or T Grip if can find a used one for sale. Only fired a few rounds wad cutters should have taken 686 along . Haven't received any info on Target stocks , did find an older sales Ad for no name Banana grips that has similar relief cut .

Congrats on finding the Model 10. What a classic. They've served around the world for over a century and are fully up to the task to this very day.
