Was just given ($100) for a S&W 38 sp with a 6 inch barrel...
Got a leather holster & 50 rounds also ....
Trying to figure out Year & Value...
Blue is near 90% & tight...
Serial # 69291 & 7 below that....
Inside it is.. M 69291

The S/N you posed doesn't line up with your gun's features. Check the butt and see if there's a letter prefix there (Guessing a C ) Like C 69291.

Looks like a nice Postwar M&P. Welcome to the Forum!

Welcome to the forums from the Wiregrass! If you bought that 38 M&P for $100 and got a holster too, you're going to hear Sirens soon! Beautiful gun!

Helped the 2nd grand pa in our family with Ebay & yes $100, then he gave me the holster & 50 rounds of CCI Blazer 158gr LRN....
Looking for some 38sp Wadcutters but no luke :(

Good luck with that . Seems .38 has dried up everywhere.

You probably know this, but don't store the gun in that holster. The leather holds moisture and will do bad things to that nice finish.

That gun would sell for $750-$800 all day around here.

Try Brownells for the .38 wadcutters. They are available online in several places.
