Welcome to the forum. How about a caliber, barrel length, finish, square or round butt? The "S" prefix serial number was used for Models 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 and Models 57 & 58 and all of those models pre model guns. Even a photo would be helpful.

Sorry. I thought it input the information in the description. Its a .38 double shot 2" or 2.5" It is actually an "r" prefix. It is a model 60. Finish is chrome/steel (not sure i know the difference).
