I just purchased a very nice S&W 31-1 at the local store. my original thought process was just to get it to add to my collection. But after I had a great time shooting it and finding myself surprised at how accurate the little revolver is, I am now thinking about carrying it in an ankle holster as a backup CCW. My question is, will the 31-1 fit into a fobus J frame ankle holster? if not does anyone know what holster may fit it? Thanks for your input.

The 31-1 is a J frame. The 31 is an 'Improved' I Frame.

welcome01 Like Mick said. I picked one up a while back and I agree it is a fun gun to shoot. Post some pics. I wasn't looking for one when I got this one. Here's a few pics and welcome aboard sarge. SEMPER FI Best regards Dick 100_0512.jpg 100_0513.jpg 100_0514.jpg

I have the same revolver with a 3" barrel. Way too much fun to shoot. It'll be a perfect fit for that Fobus holster.
Enjoy.
