I just purchased a S&W 15-4 from estate sale it has never been fired only stored in collection. His wife new very little abut the gun.
I was wondering how to find out the year of mfg. The serial # is 223K031 a beautiful piece not even a turn line.

As long as I am reading the Standard Catalog right the S/N dates to 1982. Welcome to the forum!
