I'll start it off. First is my 7X57 #1 RSI with an old Weaver K3 compliments of a fellow forum member! Second is my LE Mini-14 that has been a pleasure. Last is my 10/22 next to my son's 10/22 youth model.
I saw one of those little fingergroove 10/22's the other day on GB, didn't save it so don't know how much it finally went for, it was already over 500.00 when I looked at it.
I handled one today that looked a LOT like the finger groove one in your pic. Nice walnut stock. But it did have the "consult instruction manual before operating" stamp just ahead of the receiver sight. So I don't know.. was it an old one? Did they always have a little warning stamped on the barrel?
I have this factory Target version wit the hammer forged barrel. Great shooter, especially after I added the Volquartsen hammer and sear. Also added the auto bolt release and extended mag release.
Psssst, Don't Tell Giz, but I actually own a Ruger.... or two.... a PC40 Carbine and a 77RS in .358 NIB.... I had two, but gave one to my son DJ and the other is going to Ryan this next season ....
