25 yards..158 gr. Winchester.
Very pleased..old gun is smooth as silk.
Think I'll leave it as is.

Nice group, I'd leave it just as is too except I'd tap the front sight just slightly left. Nice old gun. Frank

I figured I'd drag out this old war horse again. I got this at Tulsa a few years back for $375. It started life as an Outddorsman with a 6 1/2 inch barrel. It shipped in September 1946. The barrel was cut down to 4 inches and it sports a King front sight, and it was "pawn shop" engraved. The charge holes were punched out to 357 magnum. The serial number is S 70791, it has the pre war long action. Of all the S&W's I have, this one is in the top 5 of my favorites.
