I have this revolver that was passed down from my grandpa to my father to me when he passed away when I was 14, always been very into firearms in a basic perspective but I was wondering how I would figure out which year this was produced. Any ideas? Thanks for all your info and tips it will be put to good use.

Give us a serial number and we can tell you. If you want to x out the last two digits, that is fine.

Welcome to the forum, echoing our esteemed moderator, that model name catured three frame styles over many years. A serial number is essential and photos will generate more comment.

Ill just name everything I can from it.

On the palm of the pistol, under the trigger guard, it has 3 numbers. 758

Under the barrel it also says B 758

Capt.,

You're gonna want to get the number from the bottom of the grip frame.
You may have to remove the stock to see it.

Capt.,

SN 1 through 54474 were shipped from 1917 through 1940. Your # 758 is near the beginning of that range. After 1957 this became the models 32 and 33. Pics would illicit more accurate comment.
