Found my load for deer season this fall.
RL19 powder (59.9gr) with the 150gr Nosler Ballistic Tip.
Had two other loads to test but did not bother with them….. this one is good enough.
These Encores will shoot with the right stuff.
This is a Eabco Barrel in 30-06AI. Love it…….
Now to find some more RL19 😢

You need to run it out to 200 and zero the scope there. Then if the deer is under 200, you'll hit the kill zone anyway. What I do with all my long guns. 200 yard zero.

Like my CVA Accura, one shot and one shot only. Makes a better marksman out of you.

That's a wonderfully accurate rifle. As said you've got no excuse if you miss!
I routinely sight in my deer rifles to be 1" high at 100 yards knowing that I'll be good to go out to 200. But TBH most of my kills have been well under 100.

Around here, you rarely see a deer at 200 yds., unless you are on the power lines. Too much brush, most shots are under 100 yds., and a slug gun or a .30-30 Winchester 94 is all you need! I don't hunt much anymore. Too risky to go out alone, like I've always done. I'd have trouble....dragging a squirrel out of the woods!!!! ;) Bob

Why not just have it sighted in to 1.5 " at 100 yards. I have my 30-06 Ackley sighted in there and I'm good for an 8 inch" kill" point blank out 365 yards.
TSX 168 62.5 grs. IMR 4350. REMINGTON 700 left handed.
