It was about 45 degrees in Friday afternoon, but sunny and fairly windy. Curt had the day off work and was was free, so off to the shale pit we went.
I brought my model 15, 442 and SD9VE. Curt had his model 67, 638 and Ruger SR9c.

Here was the range set up for the day

Haven't shot the SD9VE much since getting it a couple years ago, but the time had come. After a little warm up and getting reacquainted with the trigger I was happy with how it shot. This was 13 quick shots offhand at 25 feet

We were shooting the J frames out to 50 feet with good results and had a good time for 2 and a half hours

Was a good time as usual at the pit! Jonesy's model 15 was on target and a joy to shoot. As I stated before my 67-5 has become one of my favorite shooters. Did well with my 638 and SR9c. Did some quick drills, defensive and target shooting. Great range day.:)
