It is a beautiful 80 degrees here in NW Pennsylvania with a breeze & low humidity, perfect for some range time. I brought my 638, 617 and my 686 which had new grips to try out. Curt had his model 17, 67 and Shield.

We started off plunking with the 22 revolvers. Curt made some sight adjustments on his and got it zeroed in. Here is Curt shooting his M17

We did some 25 yard shooting with my Model 638. Both hit the big orange/black plate hanging on the cliff face, 4 out of 5 shots.

The new grips felt great on my 686. Really comfortable shooting 158gr magnums

I also brought my 15-22. We ran 184 rounds through it. They are always a good time

Curt was shooting his Shield quite well

I yelled out “Threat” and Curt engaged the 2 silhouettes as quickly as possible. Here is the results.

We spent about 3 hours shooting. I had 184 rounds preloaded in 15-22 magazines and shot another hundred with my 617. Also shot 50rounds of 38 Special and 357 magnum. Curt shot a couple hundred rounds of 22 and around a hundred plus centerfires

Woohoo! Was a great day at the range. Despite the lack of time out compaired to last year I was quite pleased with our overall performance. Enjoyed the various fireams and the new grips Jonesy got are NICE! Was glad about how I handled the Shield and of course, the 17 was just as sweet once the sights were adjusted.

At least you got in right order. Shoot first then get the allergy attack.

That does look and sound like a fine time out! It has not stopped raining here long enough to do much anything outdoors. The yard here looks like a jungle.
