It was a beautiful sunny 55 degrees here in NW Pennsylvania, and perfect for a much needed range day, so Curt360 and I hit the shale pit.
Here is our range set-up for the day

We had a variety of guns. We both brought a 625 and Curt also had his model 67 and Ruger SR9c. I had my 3" 686-6 which I had just installed a power rib mainspring in , along with a 15# rebound spring. Ran 100 reloads with CCI primers, had no light strikes

It's been a while and it showed with our first targets

But before long we warmed up. Curt shot this with his 67

And some longer distance shots. It's 50 yards to the steel hanging on the cliff face

Had a real good time and it sure was nice to have decent weather
We spent about 2.5 hours shooting and shot around 450 rounds of ammo

Was fun indeed! Great getting the 625's out for some exercise. After warming up we shot pretty good and were tearing up the targets pretty well. My 67 and SR9c functioned well and I was happy on my control with both. You could really tell a difference in trigger pull with Jonesy814's 625 and 686 and of course both were great to shoot. All in all a good day at the range.

Great day at the range=fun time cleaning guns. I’m glad the weather co-operated. It is supposed to rain here the rest of the week. Well, maybe next week.

Always great to see the old shale pit getting used. Great selection of guns and some good shooting.
