Welcome to the forum. Is it a first generation M&P or an M2.0 version? In the first generation line-up there was the full size, compact and the Shield filled the subcompact size. In the 2nd gen there is the full size, compact and subcompact, but what they call the subcompact is actually about the same size as the gen 1 compact (9c) model. I guess the Shield is now considered a micro-compact.....a category that did not exist back in 2012 when the Shield launched

Here is a link to the current production M&P M2.0 Subcompact. The size, weight and capacity are about the same as the old M&P 9c that is linked to above. Looks to me like the M2.0 Subcompact is the old M&P 9c, compact with a face lift and a name change.

Welcome to the forum!

I agree with Jonesy about gunmagwarehouse, we have used them more than once, always good service unless they don't have something in stock which at times can be iffy.
