Some gas piston autos operate slow or not @ all under extreme cold, however more like -30. I wouldn't worry about it @ the temps you mentioned.

I don't go to peoples houses who don't want guns there. What good is your gun if left out in your car? If you need it you'll need it in a heartbeat.
