I've got a Smith & Wesson AIRWEIGHT 38 SPL CTG, made in 1975 or 1976, Serial Number J356809. It's a MOD. 37. Does anyone have an idea what it's worth? Any help would be appreciated.

I know a new one is $425-450 these days, but a year ago they were on sale around here for as low as $336.95.
For a used one, condition is everything

I just bought a new Model 642-2 Airweight 38 SPL with Crimson Trace Grips in July, and it cost $700.
You can see used values for this model at Gunbroker.com but I don't see any with the CTG, which added about $200 to the cost of the new gun:
