Louis , carl is right , a picture would help .

It sounds like its the whole package , even if the flocking is gone .
The guys price is in the ball park for what I`ve seen !! I`m not sure on the tools , they pretty much all look the same but the screw driver / sight adjustment tool , should have a long chisel tip , not the short one . If not , I would take off $100 for that !!

Is it in a store on consignment ??

The store will not permit cameras. The tool does not have the long chisel tip.

Hey Louis ,

Well since he`s asking all the money and the screw drivers not right , make him an offer .
One thing thats happening is the Pre guns and No dashes are bringing good money . Check the Auction sites and watch a few and you`ll see what I mean .
Sounds like a nice gun !! B-)

I`m sure others will chime in here that know alot more than me !!

Louis...If the gun is really close to 99 percent, I think the price is about right. The screwdriver is correct for a gun of that vintage (fluted Al handle, long, flat blade). The stocks in the early 60s (even the late 50s) were a little larger and did not have the "pronounced" palm swell that was really only seen through about early 1957.

Louis,
Maybe this picture will help.
It's a 1960 'no-dash'.
You'll note the margins on the 'Coke' grips are a tad wider than the mid-50's.
Next is a shot of some early 'Cokes' on a Jan., 1957, .44 Magnum.
Also a shot of the screwdriver and part of the 'clamshell' case.
IMHO, the price being asked is perilously close to being correct.
$ 1,000 buys a very nice M-29-2 outfit these days.
Don
