A member on the blue forum gifted me this case for a 6 1/2" gun that needed some repair on the insert and the usual reline. I had never done the flocking before but I purchased all the materials a few years back in anticipation. So I repaired the insert and reflected it. According to the instructions the adhesive dries pretty stiff and shouldn't be used on foam rubber so I covered the top insert with felt. Since I had the spray glue and felt out I relined a 6" case that has the plastic insert. I did the top and bottom in felt. They both came out looking nice. All in all a fun project.

Looks good!

I used the DonJer "Flock It" kit on this case, is that what you used?

They advised me to first spray a coat of water based paint (I used Krylon formulated for plastics) on the plastic liners to keep the solvent in their adhesive from attacking it.
