Hi
Here is another Pre model 26 that is seldom seen.
This is a Pre model 26 in 45 colt, there was a small
run of these made in the early 1950,s around 200 total. The serial number on this one is S-99XXX.
This gun is 99% all Orginal all numbers matching.

Jim...those are nice Target 45s. I don't know why S&W didn't make more revolvers in that caliber in the 50/60s.

B-) Thats really something Jim .

I agree with Bill , some of these guns and grips they should have made more of !!

I guess it was the demand they were filling and did`nt feel the need to have full shelves of guns to have sit around . I guess ??

Another masterpiece! Just another rare gun. Where is the pre 25 in 45 Colt and 5 inch barrel?

Suck a nice revolver! Love the tapered barrel and the .45 Colt chambering. Demand should be dictating that S&W make a million of 'em. Instead we are flooded with plastic guns these days.
