My little hatchet bladed pocket knofe was made by Imperial. This dates back to the 40's or 50's, possibly earlier. There were a couple mfg.'s that made this style. It's actually a pretty large piece, both blades are nearly 4" each.

Yes, Those are the original scales. I used to have another one many years ago, that had been my fathers. Was a Utica if I remember correctly and had white plastic scales whth the logo "Everready" on it. When I stored it with my guns while overseas, the scales cracked and I replaced them with walnut. Unfortunately someone talked me out of it in the 60's, and when I ran accross this one I had to have it.
