I just got this today. Can anyone tell me what year it was manufactured. All I know is that it is a model 28-2 highway patrolman. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. Your model 28 was shipped in the 1975-77 time frame, but the serial number is close to the beginning of the number range, so most likely 1975.

Very nice looking Highway Patrolman! If original, the stocks might be stamped with the s/n of the gun, on the inside of the right panel. If so, save them carefully even if you decide later to put target or oversized rubber stocks on the gun to shoot it.

That's a solid 1973 serial number. My own M28-2 is N1892xx.

If possible, I'd like to see the roll stamp on the left side of the barrel, and the 4-line registration on the right side of the frame. Your magna stocks look nicer than mine.
